At GoodEarth, in our effort to build sustainable communities, we have been working to setup ecotourism ventures. Envisaged as a social enterprise which will benefit the locals, as well as conserve the environment, our work is mainly in the Himalayas and the Western Ghats.

Kanasar ecolodge is a family run ecotourism initiative, located in an apple orchard near Koti village.

2 Cottages for up to 4 to 5 people each, one washroom on the ground floor.
10 tents for up to 4 people each, with shared washrooms. (camping at Kanasar for groups of 20-30)
Minimum 2 nights stay recommended.
Ideal for a week long stay.
Day trips and longer treks can be organised.
Simple home cooked meals will be served.

Things to Note…

150km from Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport. It will take 5 to 5.5 hrs via Vikasnagar, Kalsi, Sahiya, Chakrata, to Koti Kanasar.
30km from Chakrata.
110 km from Mussoorie.
120km from Dehradun (4.5hrs drive)
Open only to Indian Citizens (This is a Protected Area and not accessible to foreign nationals)
